Casual Friday

This day was once again quite a casual Friday. Unfortunately nothing happening today. I planned to go to London tomorrow but it will be so rainy so I decided not to go... I also wrote a piano teacher in my region but the problem is that he teaches half an hour from our school and there is no way to get there because the english transport system on the countryside is so terribly bad...
I also went swimming and made my casual 2km :)

Let it snow!

Yes, also in England it can snow on special occasions, who are not appearing so often. English people from my region don't really have snow, so they were really excited about the couple flakes that fell down this afternoon at our school. But then it stopped and everyone was disappointed. In the evening my hostmum came in my room and told me to look out of the door, and to take my camera with my: snow again, and this time loads!
So I messed around quite a while with long exposure shots until I got a nice one. This is only a crop of the full image :)

Finished my photography project :D

This day I had my photography examen. It was five hours long and all about finishing my project. So I will just post my final three pieces on my blog today :)

Work is still not over

This day I was still spending most of my day doing my photography because I would be really happy to get a good grade in this subject so I put a lot of effort in it. Rösti :D #EFIamSwiss

This day was extremely interesting! I woke up at like eleven and next to FaceTiming my parents and eating lunch I only did my psychology and sociology homework kind of the whole day.

But for lunch there was something special today. I made a traditional Swiss dish for myself called Rösti. It is with potatoes and you can put all you want on top of it :D It is really nice because it reminds me of home...

How it is to live with only one thumb

No, nothing terribly bad happened, but I cut myself quite deep in the thumb with a staple that came out of my photography sketchbook. I had my finger right on top of it when I was putting it on the bed and that's how it happened.
I think you can reason out of that that I was doing my photography things the whole day and now it is only a very tiny part left :D

Photography headache and some swimming

This day was really nice. In school I finished all of my sociology and psychology homework for next week and then I went swimming like every Friday :)
In the afternoon at home my whole room had been transformed into complete madness of photography stuff lying all over the place. Only two more days and then it's finally over :D

A huge load to do..!

I never thought photography can be such hard work. I spent nearly the whole afternoon today editing around in my sketchbook and thinking about how to present my final piece. But it's nearly over; only three more days and then I will have a bit of free time again :D

It's a really funny psychedelic video game with an intense art style and I have played a bit with a friend of mine this afternoon. I have also completed a lot of my photography project and I am going to upload the pictures as soon as possible ;)

I messed around with photoshop a little bit as well :P

All em photographies

This day was finally a bit more relaxing than the last two weeks, I had time to play the piano, read and skype with my friends. But I still need to complete my photography project which is now like 80% done :D

Actually I am Swedish...

This day I had my first mock examen, but also my last one :D Finally the studying is over and I can do things like playing the piano again... And doing the photography project for next week's Monday. But my exams went quite well, I think Sociology a little better than Psychology.

One funny thing happened during the examen, I actually got a Swedish dictionary on my desk :P and Mrs Carey told me that I was signed into the school system as Swedish since they did not have Swiss as a profile HAHA

Studyday...

Unfortunately this day I did nothing but studying... Well on Monday I will have my mock exams and then it will be over! (Except the photography project :P )...

Carolina pizzaiola

This day was so nice. The weather was shining bright and I had a chocolate muffin in school :D
How can it be better? Yes, by going swimming again (didn't swim for three weeks now :P) and if you have such a lovely pizza in the afternoon from my host mum Caroline (:

I did mock studying all day, but I have finished all my psychology now :D

Marg's back home :D

After school I went straight to my neighbours, because Marg broke her hip a couple of weeks ago and now she back home. I think in some way it is really good that she is back, also for Eric, but it is way more comfortable at home, good surroundings and because English NHS-hospitals are not the best, but on the other hand I think a lot of help from nurses is missing as well...

I really hope she gets well soon, such a lovely lady she is.

And I just messed up English and german. Nevermind
So this day was quite nice, because I finished a lot of work for different subjects :D
When I went to the fish&chips shop with Shannon, Sarah and Megan at lunchbreak it began to rain very badly. But one thing I didn't know was that my backpack was nearly waterproof (my laptop was thanking me)
I need some sleep. Truely, because I need to study a lot tomorrow :)

Apple-ication

This day I started my application for a holiday job when I will be back in Switzerland. I would love to help people with their iPhone-problems and support them with answers to their questions :D

Too much study

This day was not so pretty. It was raining the whole day and I was not doing anything else than studying for my examens. Psychology is really hard for english people, but for others who don't have english as their main language it is even harder.

What I don't get too is why we do other things in class and not revising for the test we will have in a week...

It scared the hell out of me!

Sightseeing in London, I think I can add this to my list of hobbies, because that was the sixteenth time I went to London... But it was because of a friend's birthday :D

We went to the London Dungeons together and it was so scary. Everyone was howling and crying and screaming around :P

Already on 7000?

Hello my dear blog-readers! First of all I want to thank you very much for the time you spend most of the days to read my blog. I really hope you enjoy it! (And if not, please tell me ;)

So today unfortunately did not happen so much. I spent my whole day working on my photography project which I can't show you yet because it is not finished. But soon (in two weeks) I need to gove it to the teacher and I am sure that I will post it here as well :)

Not so well...
This night I didn't sleep well at all. I don't really know why but today I felt really poorly... But I decided to go to school anyways with my nose running and a little headache.
Well so I did quite a lot of my photography project while wasting loads of paper for my nose :P But then suddenly my photoshop won't open anymore because I ran out of memory. It crashed and I lost all my progress. But the savings I have done sometimes were also gone. So tomorrow I can start again, YAY!
Gonna go to sleep earlier today...

The photography project #2

This day I had once more time to complete the first half of my photography project. I also spent a lot of time learning for my mock examen which is in two weeks on a Tuesday... Quite a lot to do! (:

The photography project #1

Today I started doing the final part of my photography project. But I won't tell you so much yet because it is going to be a little surprise for everyone...
Tomorrow I will have another day to complete the first half of my project :D

The wax gallery

Early this morning I drove with my bros (aka my parents) to Heathrow terminal because they flew back later in the afternoon... But first we needed to go visiting another cool place in London: the Madame Tussaud gallery near baker street. It was really cool and we took some funny pictures together :D
But then they left and we both were really sad...

Raclette with grandma

In the morning it was so foggy and frosty. We woke up quite early but stayed until late in bed. My parents had the wish to see the school I am going to so I showed them a bit around. I think they really enjoyed it :)
Later on around one o'clock we went to our house to prepare a raclette with my hostfamily. The grandparents Ian and Brenda and our neighbour Eric were there as well... And for dessert we had some lovely cookies from my grandmother in Switzerland. And the nanny here loved them as well ;)

Lovely dinner

Something terrible happened last week, Marg, my neighbour, had a terrible accident and broke her hip. This day me and my parents visited her in hospital and she was so pleased. I sincerely hope that she will get well soon :/
After that we drove one hour to a little village in Essex. There we went to the restaurant that the parents of Jamie Oliver cook in and own. We ate with Caroline, Edward and William and the food was just simply delicious :D
