London Trip #2
I woke up (a bit to late, because my phone changed his timezone) and went with Johanna, Maria, Keri, Mona-Lisa and Jana with the train from Huntingdon to London.
Than on the train my phone already didn't have any battery left, because it is so shitty old. But luckily I'll get a new one soon :D
So I couldn't take any pictures the whole day and at this point I want to thank Johanna that I can 'steal' her pictures... I will upload more pictures on Monday if I'll get them :)
So first of all when we arrived, we took the underground to a new-fashion-hipster-hashtag-place with lots of little small expensive shops...After going to Oxford street where I was annoyed of expensive sunglasses (PS: I am searching for sunglasses since I am here in England and I didn't found any by now.
Than I went with Mona to Chinatown and there we've visited the M&M's land... I was quite busy in there, but lovely as well.In the afternoon after a nice lunch in Nando's, we went on a walk that my mother has suggested me yesterday, along the Thames, to the Tate-Modern museum, in the café on the sixth floor with a great view and across the millennium bridge back to the railway station. That was about 2 hours walking...
It was so lovely passing the whole day in London, but I was quite
tired in the evening at home and went to sleep quite early.
Today I had to wake up to early for a Sunday. Normally I prefer to sleep for hours. But today I had to go to church! Yes, I am not kidding. But it was a memorial for the killed people in World War 1 which was 100 years ago. So I had to read down names with my host sister Beatrice and her friend.
But for Bea it was a very special day as well, because it was her birthday today. So their grandparents arrived as well and we spent half the afternoon together with them.
At around four o'clock in the afternoon I decided to cycle to some friends in Somersham, they baked some cupcakes and we played piano the whole evening until my host mother came to drive me home, because it was to dark to cycle back home :D
